"Felt That Breeze"

I had a super awesome moment today when I was walking my dog and cat.  Just as I was passing this tall tree with narrow yellow leaves, the wind kicked up a magical breeze and yellow leaves were falling like helicopters right towards me - and I couldn't catch one.  I was laughing and really trying to catch one but couldn't until one landed right on my foot.  Then the breeze stopped completely and no more leaves fell.  It was liked someone turned on the leave faucet and a deluge of yellow came towards my face. That moment was just for me, and I enjoyed it like a child.  I heard myself laughing out loud as though someone was tickling me.  Talk about enjoying the present.  It made me so glad I got out to take a walk.  I took the leave that landed on my shoe to remind me of the moment.  The moment that filled me.

  1. Keep the joy flowing Kiki!
I am making an effort to get out there and light up people's lives myself!
I was searching TV channels tonight and found local access channel 24 and saw Plaza Linda and two fellows singing! (I even caught a glimpse of you in the mirror!)
They were singing songs like "Stir it up" and something like Charlie wake up time to go to jail or something like that.
    They were pretty good!
